Healthcare services in Morena is quite decent and reliable. Presence of adequate number of well equipped hospitals coupled with more than decent number of chemist shops and general clinics are ensuring that all basic healthcare needs of local people are duly and thoroughly fulfilled. Ultrasound facility, in-house Blood bank, E.C.G and Lens transplantation are readily available in this hospital. There is also a civil hospital in neighboring town of Ambah, which has 58 beds and total 8 in-house doctors. Both these hospitals are very critical for Morena’s healthcare services. Government run Primary Health Centers and Community Health Centers are
also present in pretty substantial numbers in and around Morena city.
Their presence is again very critical for providing affordable
healthcare services to poor and not so well of people. Currently there
are Primary Health Centers and Community Health Centers in adjoining
towns like Joura, Sabalgarh, Porsa, Kailaras and
Banmore.

Coming to private hospitals, then they obviously outnumber government hospitals. There are currently around 16 to 18 reputed private hospitals, including around 10 nursing homes. Most of these hospitals are very well equipped, but none of them are not advanced enough to categorized as multi specialty or super specialty hospitals. Some hospitals, however, boost pretty advanced facilities in medical specialties like Gynaecologist, Orthopaedics, and Ophthalmology.
